OUTWOOD COMMUNITY VIDEO

We are a video-making club located in Outwood, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire in England.
The club was formed in 2001 to encourage people of all ages to take an interest in film making. We intend to film events around our local communities in Outwood, Stanley, Alverthorpe, Wrenthorpe, Kirkhamgate and Lofthouse.
All our members are volunteers and give their time freely.
The aim of our club is, with the aid of local funding to produce a series of videos that reflect the history of our area, and to put together a digital database of film and photographs for future generations.
We also aim to help raise funds for the less fashionable charities, groups and clubs, that sometimes miss out to the more popular charities.
The club meets every Tuesday at Outwood Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm new members and visitors are always made welcome. ABOUT OUR CLUB We have over 500 hours of film and more than 6000
old photographs of our local communities. Our presentations are available to
Schools, Groups, Hospitals, Retirement/Nursing Homes etc. Contact: Mike Hooley Contact: Tony Banks COVERING THE COMMUNITIES OF
